Clarkston International Bible Church : Clarkston International Bible Church (SBC) reaches out to the thousands of internationals in Clarkston--the center of the Muslim population in the Southeast. The building is sound but needs some fixing up. There are windows that need reworking, there are leaks that need to be eliminated, two bathrooms need to be redone--primarily the ceilings, and most of the classrooms in the church need repainting. Most of the work is fairly simple.

Huntington Terraces Work Project : Huntington Terraces is on Buford Highway inside the perimeter just south of Chamblee Tucker and across the street from the CDC offices. There is a light now at the entrance of HT. The mission is in the first building on the right as you enter the property. It is the lower apartment on the left when you enter. We need to tear out the ceiling in the hall way, sheet rock that, paint the hall completely and the first bedroom closet. We need to finish the sanding job in the bathroom and paint the bathroom. The management has agreed to give us all the supplies we'll need. Contact with the management is Andrew in the office at 770-451-7344.

FBC Doraville : FBC Doraville is the mother church of the Whirlwind Missions and generously gives us office space. There are five ethnic congregations meeting here as well the Anglo congregation. Most of the work is exterior painting of the Calvary building and tile work in the "B" or educational building which houses the offices of the church. Tile needs to be replaced in the secretary's bathroom, the kitchen and perhaps the front foyer outside the fellowship hall. Water has damaged the rear of the church. Drainage needs to be addressed. Painting and some patch work on some of the covered porch areas.

Foxwood Playground : Our team needs to repaint all the wood surfaces, replace the wood roof on the smaller structure and build a swing set. The last few pictures show a sample swing from a neighborhood park that the manager said she'd like us to model after. Foxwood will pay the expense of the project.

Northchase : Northchase is one of our newest missions. This mission is on the access road of Peachtree Industrial going south between Winter's Chapel and Tilly Mill. We need to paint the rooms we use in the Activity Center. The fence needs to be repaired asap. There are two playgrounds, they need to be demolished and then rebuilt with new materials. There is extensive trash pickup that needs to be done. There is damage on the gutters on several buildings, but the management will probably contract that out to professionals.
