Cruz @ Woodgate 6.10.06 : We had a great turnout playing at Woodgate on Chamblee-Dunwoody road in Chamblee. Hundreds of men passed by and stopped to listen to the band play. Tito preached a marvelous sermon. The folks hung on every word. Thanks also to Bob Williams who ran our sound and Miles Kendall who helped fill in on guitar. Cruz is a central part of our strategy to Take the Church, To the People.

Cruz at Azlalea 4.15 : Azalea Place Apartments was the birthplace of Cruz! This is my mission with my kids. It was great to have Marco sing with us again. He was the leader of the original group that Lester and Tito first sang with nearly 10 years ago! Love these guys too much!

Shallowford Gardens 10/23/04 : Cruz performed at Shallowford Gardens with the help of Midway Macedonia Baptist Church. We even had some of their team sit in with us! Jouvens is always a big help to our band and mixed the sound.

Cruz at play : These shots are from Sierra Creek in the rain. We were almost completely set up and then came a torrent. Fortunately we got everything out of the weather in time. Later, Tito, Lester, Jouvens and I went to eat at Las Palmas--for Nicaraguan food. Jouvens is learning to be our sound man.

Cruz : These photos were taken of our band Cruz (which means "Cross" in Spanish) on March 13th, 2004. The director of our band is Tito Ruiz. His brother Lester is our percussionist. Tim plays lead guitar. All three band members sing. We were at an Outreach Event at Azalea Place with Peachtree Corners Baptist Church.
